THE GREAT ALL AMERICAN YOUTH CIRCUS

Founded in 1929, The Great All-American Youth Circus is the oldest community Circus in the world. Over 400 performers electrify the stage for the local community for three weekends every May.

CCAC supports the Great All American Youth Circus through performances, fund-raisers, class fees, and YMCA memberships. Unlike other youth activities, circus is noncompetitive and focuses on individual and group skills presented in an entertaining and artistic theatrical performance, with choreography, lighting, costumes, and music.  The program emphasizes teamwork, dedication, trust, family, skill, showmanship, excitement, and fun for both the participant and the observer. Circus teaches young people important values such as responsibility, commitment, self-confidence, and self-discipline.  The Great Y Circus is supported primarily by family, friends, and volunteers, as well as many alumni who have gone on to become professionals, who return to help the build the next generation of circus.

CCAC ANNUAL FUNDRAISER 2021

On October 9th, 2021 we rolled out the red carpet for our Annual Fundraiser which included a virtual night of entertainment with a live online auction. What a success! Check out some of the performances from the event in the video to the right.

ZOOM INTO CIRCUS

Normally in May, the Redland's circus community would gather for the annual Great All American Youth Circus show. Sadly for a second year we were without a live performance, and CCAC has had to find a new way to give back. In "Zoom into Circus", our first ever virtual show, the Do Circus Squad put together this virtual show as a gift to the circus community on Saturday May 8th.

Members of the Do Circus Squad performed during an event for the San Bernardino County Medical Society at the Burrage Mansion on June 24th, 2021. As a sponsor, CCAC was honored to support a mission surrounding child-serving nonprofits and volunteering efforts.

WORKSHOPS + CIRCUS TUTORIALS

CCAC and Do Circus Squad members have been hard at work creating tutorial videos for GYC tryouts, planning workshops, and providing at-home circus videos to keep you in shape whenever, however.

CCAC GIVES BACK

CCAC is involved in the community in multiple ways, but one that remains special is our annual appreciation of circus seniors. We take the time to provide them with gift baskets as a celebration of their hard work and leadership over the years.
